Q: Will I get the best stairlift
solution for me and my stairs?
A: All users and their stairs are different.
As an independent supplier we are not tied to
any one supplier and so will always offer the
best option for you and your stairs.
Q: How difficult is it to
get on and off the lift?
A: All of our stairlifts* have seat swivels
that ensure that you get on and off the lift
both safely and comfortably at the top of the
stairs. Powered swivels are available on many
models for those who are unable to swivel the
lift themselves.
Q: Will the lift prevent
me from using the stairs as normal?
A: No, we would take the stair width
into consideration when recommending a lift.
The seat, arms and footrest all fold away on
all of our lifts, so you can still use your
stairs as normal.
Q: How easy are your lifts
to use?
A: All of our stair lifts are easy to
use and can be operated by the user or remotely.
Again we always consider the most appropriate
hand toggle or lever before recommending a lift.
Q: How long does it take
to fit a stairlift?
A: All of our stairlifts are prepared prior
to installation, using measurements taken during
the technical survey. When we arrive at your
home, we aim to take as little time as possible.
Most straight lifts can be fitted in less than
90 minutes while a curved lift should be fitted
in between two and four hours depending on the
complexity of your staircase.
Q: Will the lift be noisy?
A: All of our stair lifts are quiet enough
to use day and night without disturbing others.
Q: If the lift is upstairs
and I am downstairs, what happens?
A: All lifts are supplied with 2 remote controls,
so you just send or fetch the lift at the push
of a button. You can keep one at the bottom
of the stairs and one at the top or have your
own remote control.
Q: What happens if there
is a powercut?
A: All of our stairlifts** are powered by two
DC batteries meaning that if you are unlucky
enough to experience a powercut; the lift will
continue to operate. The lift is also plugged
into the mains so that the batteries are recharged
when the lift is not in use.
Q: What if something gets
in the way of the stairlift?
A: All of our stairlifts have safety
edges that automatically stop the stairlift
if they find anything in its path.
Q: Will I be able to operate
my stairlift once the engineer has gone?
A: Our engineers will always include an in-depth
demonstration of how the lift operates and its
safety features. Should you have any problems
after we have gone our engineers are just a
phone call away.
Q: Does my lift come with
a warranty?
A: A 12 month warranty on all parts and
labour is included with every stairlift.
* MediTek 160 Heavy Duty (over 22 stone excepted)
